Update: South Dakota State Government Launches Website for Medical Cannabis Program

The South Dakota state government has launched a website for the medical cannabis program. There will be two cannabis town halls on June 28 at 5 pm and 6:30 pm CT. You can register through the homepage of the website (linked below). We encourage as many as people as possible to attend.

Governor Noem said in a statement today: "One of my jobs as Governor is to make sure that the will of the people…[is] enforced…I’ve heard from people who are hurting and are hopeful for relief.”

But just a few months ago, Noem tried to severely delay implementation of the medical cannabis program and extend the harsh criminalization of patients.

Thankfully, we defeated her in the Legislature and blocked the delays.

We mention this because it's important to hold politicians accountable, especially when they try to trample on the will of the people.
