KELO: “South Dakotans to vote on recreational marijuana”

Initiated Measure 29 was recently featured on Keloland, receiving coverage on Kelo’s TV channel and website. The piece featured arguments from Matthew Schweich, executive director of SDBML, and Rhonda Milstead, Protecting SD Kids (PSDK) spokesperson.

Schweich continued to lay out the case that IM29 is a common-sense policy increasing personal freedom in South Dakota, while Milstead spewed fear-mongering soundbites in the tradition of PSDK.

Measure 29 is a smart initiative designed to reform South Dakota’s failed prohibition on cannabis, not a gateway to meth abuse use like our opponents would have you believe.
