LAST DAY TO VOTE
YES ON 29!

TUESDAY (Nov. 5)

Vote on Election Day at your polling location between 7:00am and 7:00pm local time!

Use the official state voter information portal to find your polling location.

If you have an unreturned absentee ballot (“vote by mail”), you can deliver it to your County Auditor directly. We don’t recommend mailing it at this late stage.

If you have questions, please call or text our campaign hotline at (605) 269-8552.

VOTING INFORMATION

Double check your voter registration, view a sample ballot, and/or look up your polling location for Election Day (November 5th):

South Dakota requires voters to present a photo ID at their polling place. These forms of ID are valid under the law:

  • South Dakota driver’s license or nondriver ID card

  • U.S. government photo ID (passport is acceptable)

  • U.S. Armed Forces ID

  • Current student photo identification card from a South Dakota high school or South Dakota accredited institution of higher learning

  • Tribal photo ID

If you do not have an ID but are registered to vote, you can still cast a ballot! You will have to sign a “personal identification affidavit” and will be given a ballot to vote with.

If you’re in line to vote before 7:00pm, the polling place MUST allow you to cast your ballot, even if it is after 7:00pm.

If you’re working all day on November 5th when the polls are open (7:00am-7:00pm), your employer is required to allow you two consecutive hours away from work to vote.

If you require the assistance of an interpreter, your voting precinct is required to provide you one.

If you make a mistake marking your ballot, ask a poll worker for assistance. They will take your mistake ballot and give you a new one.

Make a plan to vote and ensure you are able to cast your ballot before the polls close on November 5th!
